Chief Human Resources Officer
LEADERSHIP
Kathleen is Chief Human Resources Officer of Powderhouse, where she shapes the institution’s human systems — establishing the standards, structures, and culture through which exceptional people are recruited, developed, and sustained. Her responsibility extends beyond human resources; she ensures the organizational discipline supporting Private Capital Infrastructure remains as intentional, scalable, and enduring as the architecture it exists to advance.
For more than twenty-five years, Kathleen has led human capital, organizational leadership, executive administration, and operations across growing organizations. She began her career in 1995 by building an organization’s human-resources function from the ground up, establishing the governance frameworks, policies, operational standards, employee systems, and management practices that supported sustainable growth. That experience shaped her conviction that enduring institutions are built through disciplined leadership, clear accountability, and intentionally designed culture.
Throughout her career, Kathleen has guided organizations through growth, organizational transformation, and operational change by building systems that preserve culture while strengthening performance. Rather than viewing culture as an outcome of growth, she has consistently treated it as institutional infrastructure—deliberately designed, reinforced through leadership, and strengthened over time.
Kathleen holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and has remained an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management throughout her career. She has served on the boards of multiple organizations and has been recognized for professional excellence, organizational leadership, and longstanding service to her community.
At Powderhouse, Kathleen stewards the institution’s people systems and organizational standards. She establishes the standards by which talent is identified, leaders are developed, culture is preserved, and organizational excellence is sustained across every stage of growth. Her work ensures that as Powderhouse grows, the institution remains defined by disciplined people, principled leadership, and standards built to endure.
Kathleen leads how the institution hires, develops, and sustains its people.
Her role is to ensure the institution’s people remain as durable as its architecture.
